Our journey began with a simple realization: striving to be like someone else is overrated. Instead, embracing your true self and standing out from the crowd is what truly matters. UnComm3n Apparel was born from this belief, and we are excited to share our story with you.
The Founder
UnComm3n Apparel was founded by Richard Baxter, a passionate individual with over a decade of experience in exercise and nutrition coaching, and a background in football. Richard's journey to creating this brand was not a straightforward one. For years, he struggled with self-sabotage and scarcity, doubting his ability to bring his vision to life. However, the desire to create a community where people can inspire, support, and find a safe place to become the best versions of themselves pushed him forward.
Our Mission
At UnComm3n Apparel, our mission is simple: to create a community where everyone feels they belong. We want to be that place where you can find unwavering support, whether your passion lies in fitness, music, gaming, gardening, or even knitting. Our goal is to challenge you to become a better version of yourself, free from self-sabotage and full of purpose and happiness. When you wear our clothes, we want you to feel like you are part of something bigger, a community that embraces being UnComm3n.
Core Values
Our brand stands on three core values: Integritti, Disciplyn, and Consistenci. These values are interconnected, building upon each other to create a strong foundation. Integritti is built from Disciplyn, and Disciplyn is built from Consistenci. To truly achieve these values, you need to stop caring about what others think of you. That's why we use the acronym IDC: I Don't Care. When you stop caring about others' opinions, you unlock your true potential and become UnComm3n.
Inspiration
Inspired by the lifestyles of ninjas, samurais, and monks, UnComm3n Apparel embodies the highest levels of Integritti, Disciplyn, and Consistenci. Our clothing style is focused on oversized gym and lifestyle wear, offering a feeling of comfort and confidence. Our first collection, UnKnown Oni, is dedicated to Richard's son, who inspired him to break free from a common mindset and embrace his true self. Each collection will be unique, representing different chapters of Richard's life. Each chapter will have a different figment harnessing the reflection of that chapter. Once that chapter is over, that figment will never return.
Our Community
UnComm3n Apparel is for those who feel like an outcast, those who feel like they need to act as a chameleon to fit in. If you feel like you're in the wrong place, we welcome you with open arms. Our community is here to support you, offering friendship, education on exercise, nutrition and mindset, and a place where you can truly be yourself. Together, we are a family that embraces the UnComm3n and supports each other in our journeys.
